Stumble In The Dark Much???

     Do you ever stumble in the dark??? Do you step on things because you can't see??? Are you waking everyone up in the house trying to make it through in the dark??? Do you bang around in the kitchen, trying to find a midnight snack?? Well I was having some of these very issues. So, when I got the opportunity to review this motion detection light for the home I was stoked. The light is made and sold by Cshidworld on Amazon.

     In my house, seems nobody in the house sleeps at the same time. Some of us nap too long throughout the day, stumble through the house at all hours of the night. In the kitchen looking for food, stumbling as they come down the hall and making tons of noise while they look. I prefer sleeping on the couch myself and I am often the recipient of all these nightly pleasures. However, I do have insomnia, so sometimes the one making noises and stumbling through the house is me. I also have a small house and do not have enough storage for things and sometimes we are bumping into or stumbling over some of the excess "stuff". What ever the reason, we so needed this light in our house.

     The light is designed to be mounted to the wall and comes with its own mount. Just place where you need the most light and anchor with two screws or with the 3M double sided tape that is provided. Then place 3 AA batteries in the unit, turn the switch to auto on the side (if you want it to sense your movement) or simply turn it on when its needed. This unit can be used as either the motion sensor light or a bright LED flashlight. At this point I haven't mounted mine, because I haven't decided where we need it most, so mine sits on the counter in the kitchen, but it still serves the same purpose.

     I waited until dark and turned off most of the lights (works great in total darkness too) and put this baby to the test. I had the unit on auto to detect movement. I walked into the kitchen and BAM there was light (but not so much light that it would wake me when I am sleeping)!!! I walked away and watched as the units light turned back off automatically. Hey I like this thing. Seems since I have used this light, I am not awoke every night by the normal night time noises in my house. The best part I don't have to leave a "night light" on above the stove or in the bathroom to enable everyone light to see. So my sleeping habits have gotten somewhat better (I no longer have a light glaring in my eyes) and it's a bit quieter now.

     The other feature I put to the test was the flashlight. I heard a loud noise after dark out back of my house. Well I wasn't sure what it was, sounded like a tree falling so I wanted to take a look. The LED light was bright and I still don't know what caused the noise but it wasn't anything I could see. But the light was bright and illuminated the back section of my house. This feature will come in handy this summer when we are out roasting marshmallows, going back and forth between my house and the one of my son's, looking for "night crawlers" to fish with, etc. Should we decide to go camping, it would make a compact handy little light to carry with you. We will definitely wear this thing out.
